Toly Donates 3D Scanner to MCAST to Support Student Learning and Development

10/4/2023

We are thrilled to announce that Toly has once again made their annual donation to the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST). This year, the donation includes a 3D Scanner, which will undoubtedly help students develop and refine their design skills and explore new techniques in the world of 3D printing.

At Toly, we strongly believe in investing in the education and development of young talent, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support MCAST in this way. We have had a close relationship with MCAST for over 16 years, and through our Chief Marketing Officer CMO Dorien Bianco and the collaboration many years ago, Toly were the pioneers of introducing the concept of MCAST giving the opportunity to establish a working experience in the industry. Throughout these years we have hosted MCAST students multiple times as part of their fieldwork, and every year we also donate material and machinery to the Institute to help students further pursue their studies.

Our donation of the 3D Scanner will provide MCAST students with the necessary tools to succeed in their careers and give them the opportunity to experiment with the latest technology. We hope that this donation will inspire students to continue learning and growing in their chosen field, and we look forward to seeing the amazing work that they will create using the 3D Scanner.

In addition to the donation of material and machinery, we also hold apprenticeships for MCAST students and offer them a space on which and in which they can conduct their assignments. This gives students a taste of what working for the Toly group could be like. Throughout the year, we also host students at our corporate offices as well as our manufacturing plant, so students can learn more about the processes of this industry and get inspiration for their assignments.

We would like to thank the Vice Principal Dr Mario Cardona, the Deputy Director Claire Flores, the lecturers Nadia Haber and Rebecca Grech, and the students for visiting our facilities. We are proud to be part of a community that values the education and growth of young talent, and we are excited for our upcoming collaborations with MCAST.

At Toly, we will continue to support MCAST and invest in the education and development of young talent. We believe that supporting the next generation of professionals is key to the growth and success of our industry. We are proud to be part of a community that values the education and growth of young talent, and we are excited for our upcoming collaborations with MCAST.
