Toly Products has a wide range of facilities to provide clients the best possible service. Our manufacturing abilities include:
1. Injection Moulding
Toly’s core process is injection moulding. Molten plastic is injected at high pressure into a mould, which is the inverse of the product's shape. At all Toly’s manufacturing sites moulding machines are fitted with robotic arms, to enable automatic part removal and ensure consistency in processing.

2. Assembly
Assembly takes place in-line with the moulding process in order to minimize handling. The assembly areas are fully air-conditioned and kept clean at all times to ensure the quality of the final product and keep up with the customers’ requirements.
Both our factories are “lean” facilities i.e. they manufacture the quantity required when required. They do not hold stocks or work in progress and all processes are carried out in line. In Malta most assembly lines are fully automated whilst in Asia, it is a more manual process.

3. Toolmaking
In 2006 Toly closed down its internal tool-room and today the company outsources the building of new tools, utilising our extensive knowledge and experience.
4. Development
Early in the 2007, Toly moved its tool-making machinery from the UK to Malta and set up a purpose-built development unit alongside its manufacturing plant. Moving towards a factory based development structure has enabled the company to reduce its development timing and in 2007, a record number of new developments were commissioned.
In the future, similar development units will be created alongside Toly’s new manufacturing plants in Asia.
The Toly Malta plant is heavily vertically integrated. In addition to its core moulding and assembly processes the plant has the capability to cut and finish mirrors, has extensive decoration capabilities, 2 in-house lacquering lines and the facility to metallise small volumes.

5. Mirror Cutting
Toly maintains its flexibility and short lead-times with the help of its own mirror cutting operation. Square, rectangular, round, oval and unusually shaped mirrors are cut, arrissed and washed just in time for customer requirements.

6. Decoration
Toly has the flexibility to personalise each customer’s unique package. Our internal decoration capabilities include hot foil printing, tampo printing, laser decoration, and silk screen printing.
7. Surface Decoration
Toly has strong internal capabilities in surface decorating techniques at its facility in Malta. Toly has two UV lacquering plants for protective hard coat matt lacquering and UV spray painting.
These are complemented by a metallising chamber.
With its joint venture partner in China, Toly can offer electroplating in shiny matt and brushed effects.
In Korea, Toly’s joint venture partner offers the capabilities of inside spray coating, UV metallising and other specialised lacquering techniques.
